Inspiration

What inspires me about this video?  Well..everything!

I resonate with Stefan's comment about hating the question 'What is Design?'.  It can have so many varied meanings from one person to the next, as I've been learning about in a book I'm reading at the moment - Open Manifesto: Some thoughts on graphic design.  

I am also all for learning about and experimenting with different design techniques, 

Lastly, I love how Stefan took what he learned about the architect who designed the building the simplicity of the thinking beside

The below images were taken from the article "Why Street Art Matters" on The Cool Hunter. They initially grabbed my attention with their vibrant colours - colours of which I seem to always be drawn to.  

One of my favourites is the first image portraying a modern variation of the pop art style who I believe might be the artist D*Face

I absolutely love the concept of showcasing various forms of artistic talent, injecting life into what I see as everyday drab on the streets of many cities.  

My appreciation for all things street art comes from my partner who in his earlier years was a part of the Melbourne street art scene.
